Alaskan Friend

This Golden Rule moment is actually a series of moments and is very dear to my heart. Late last year, I met a guy online from Alaska named Bryan. Him and I were in very similar situations and related on a lot of different topics, including being vegetarian. Over the following months we spoke with each other daily, giving advice and support when we both needed it. So much has happened between then and now, but today was one of the most wonderful moments. You see Bryan and I have both recently been divorced. And there’s a lot of heart ache that comes with that, including anxiety about connecting with someone new. But today, I found out that my dear friend has found someone, a female friend, with whom he’s enjoying spending time with. In Alaska that apparently is a rarity. It was a realization for me, how our friendship has been so important in opening our hearts. Our connection has truly helped me through some of the roughest months. And I am so happy to see him happy. I’ve never even met the guy, but my heart is full knowing that he’s my friend, and has been able to find a sweet, heart-connection. I think ours is an example of friendship, full of kindness and respect. 2/19/20 KINDNESS/RESPECT

Finding the Golden Rule in action everywhere I go! It’s like time stops and I get to watch amazing scenes play out in front of me. Scenes that embody Kindness, Empathy, Respect, and Civility. Arizona is a Golden Rule State and I’m what you might call a Golden Rule prospector.
